Volunteer Achievement Program courses focus on the educational needs of credit union volunteers. Today’s rapidly changing credit union climate has credit unions relying more heavily than ever on the leadership skills of their elected officials. In fact, to keep up with this pace more and more credit unions are requiring continuing education for their volunteers. CUNA’s Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP) helps volunteers learn how to work together effectively, make informed decisions, and improve credit union performance. You'll find learning opportunities here for both new and experienced volunteers.
The Volunteer Leadership Program is designed to create a simplified approach to some rather complex subjects. It provides credit union directors with a convenient, practical way to become certified in the areas of credit union operations, governance, compliance, and more. Plus, through your studies and taking the online exams, you’ll earn your credentials as a Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV) to prove you're an accountable credit union volunteer.
