Credit Unions & Cooperatives for a Better World
Credit unions are financial cooperatives. But did you know they are only one sector that's based on the cooperative business model? Credit unions are part of a larger cooperative family that includes food co-ops, electric co-ops and apartment co-ops, to name a few.
Join the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) as it observes International Credit Union Day by participating in this webcast and hear a detailed explanation on the value that can be realized by having credit unions partner with co-ops in their communities.
The webcast will feature Howard Brodsky, co-founder and chairman and CEO of CCA Global Partners, one of the largest cooperatives in the United States. Brodsky, who serves as chairman of Cooperatives for a Better World, will explain the cooperative-credit union partnership and how once a consumer understands what a cooperative is, they are 78 percent more likely to choose a cooperative business over a conventional business.
The session will be carried LIVE from America’s Credit Union Museum in Manchester, NH. Participants will be able to submit questions to Brodsky during the presentation.
